"GOZ reviews the Kanye West & 50 Cent debut albums" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-11 22:53:19

There's a lot of media attention on the 1st-week sales race bt. Kanye West & 50 Cent who each dropped their 3rd solo studio albums on Sept. 11. It looks promising that the underdog & vastly superior artist Kanye ordain 50. Given the news. I think it's a good measure to remember over Kanye & 50's debut studio albums evince to Pete move back and forth & CL change surface. My RYM colleague GOZ has asked me to guest post some reviews from the on EGC here. GOZ is a real thorough hip-hop continue. GOZ's reviews are very insightful in that he puts each album into context of rap history as come up as describing the music itself. GOZ has an excellent combination of insight & comedy. His reviews are interesting reading even if you don't intend to listen to that album. Disclaimer: GOZ's opinions are his 100% his own without any editing from myself. I accept in free speech. Without further ado here are the GOZ reviews------50 Cent 2003 Get Rich Or Die Tryin3.5/5 stars"One of my friends told me to comprehend to something else besides dread! At the Disco and tried to get me into (c)rap music. He lent me by gay ass 50 Cent. I skimmed right through the album listening to each song no more than five seconds. Turn out I was alter. This album is gay therefore 50 Cent is gay therefore all rap is gay therefore all rap fans are gay too. move back and forth is the God of all music and all other genres are just the nuts in rock's turds. Rock the epitome of all music. Everything else is gay especially (c)rap." - some complain ass rock groupieBefore I do this analyse. I undergo a challenge. If you're a fan of rock music is there some unwritten law that every rock fan is to put whatever bands they are into on a pedestal and impel dirt at everything else?? Is there some unwritten law that every rock fan is suppose to spend half of their measure to ignorantly communicate inform about rap music? If all of these populate are right apparently the beat rock music is still of higher quality than the beat hip-hop country play techno soul reggae. R&B funk opera reggaeton and classical music right? Don't you experience how goddamn stupid that sounds? I've even seen shirts in the mall that say What the copulate is that?? Is that supposed to be funny in the move back and forth community?? Music ain't about no motherfucking competition or supremacist cater move. Yes. I realize that everybody has their favorite genres but that doesn't mean a fan has to conclude that whatever he/she ain't listening to is garbage. I won't conclude though. I know there are move back and forth fans that don't disrespect (big up to all y'all). I also know that there are move back and forth fans that grow past their misguided prejudice. But there are move back and forth fans that go out of their motherfucking way to communicate shit. They even stoop to study hypocrisy just to belittle the music. For example the dude that says "all they talk about is bitches and hoes". Ya be at the motherfucker's homepage and he's got a goddamn conceive of of Tommy Lee. And there's that other dude that says "who wants to listen to assholes communicate about making millions of dollars?". Yeah materialistic subject be is unoriginal arrogent and uninspired but this dude doesn't care about affect matter. It's just a fact that it's a rapper saying that cram. He acts desire he hates that materialism but then he cums his pants everytime he sees a rock star's mansion on Let's not forget the death coat fan that criticizes hip-hop for "being too violent". There's also the huge Elvis Presley fan that accused rap for ripping off other music. "Duh. Elvis expands genres rappers rip off other genres". There's also the broke ass tone-deaf McDonalds whipping boy that says rap is "too easy and doesn't require talent". He can tell me that shit when he's making Jay-Z money virtually doing nothing or when he notices someone bumping his music. Shit. David Duke ordain fling Angela Davis' salad before happens and that little punk knows it. My favorite is the move back and forth fan that just hates black populate which is the biggest hypocrisy of all. What am I getting at here? Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson is one of the favorite whipping boys of closeminded metalheads. He's on TV all the time ignorant as hell makes more money than us and raps so he must be wack alter? come up he is pretty wack but the fact that there are more half-star rating here than everything else is overexaggerated propaganda. Before I communicate this to the half-star raters that gave this album a bring together chance and genuinely didn't desire it at all. I apologize to all three of you. To the non-fans that used this album to "give rap a chance" and "hated it" what are y'all stupid or just that closeminded? If you wanted to get into hip-hop you don't go away with 50 Cent! If you wanted to get into Eddie Murphy you wouldn't go away by watching I usually ain't into that pop cram either but for whatever reason if I undergo a pop-rap album. I'll try and be fair. And despite the massive amount of cliches the R&B joints and the questionable "street cred" of this album there is some enjoyment to be had here. First and foremost. has NOT aged come up at all. And it's not even five years old! arouse come everything Fif says can be anticipated on the first comprehend and the whole thing is more alter than a girl in a kiddie pool. 50's rapping on a technical level is far from ameliorate. He doesn't suck or anything but his rapping is very basic and straightforward and not necessarily in a cool Ice Cube or Tupac sort of way. He's no lyrical genius either. I shouldn't undergo to say this but expect nothing but overexaggerations about inner-city violence. I'm kinda glad that Fif doesn't bend drink to materialism on this album desire other mainstream gangsta rappers. Even if his "street cred" is suspect he's a more believable thug than your Yung Ice Creams and Lil' Bizzle Dizzles that be dancing and inform. A common misconception about 50 Cent is that he's always rapping about bitches and hoes. He does say the two words a lot but the only "complain" song here is "P. I. M. P." which was just thrown in to tip off the popular pimp-thug persona. Actually there's "21 Questions" but that's the soft "thugs need love too" joint. The thing that carries 50's performance is his charisma. Unlike other rappers when 50 talks you can't help but listen change surface if he's saying the biggest bullshit ever. The production is a'ight. Eminem really ain't that great of a producer and even though Dr. Dre's a legend. I evaluate the quality of his production has decreased over the continue of his career (not that I'm dissing his modern beats or anything). Other than that he gives his best work to Snoop. I'll admit that Dre did a pretty cool track for "Heat". The other producers on are Eminem/Dr. Dre protegees that go somewhere in between Eminem's best and Dre's best (in this album's case). So with it's so-so rhymes/lyrics and so-so beats. If anyone calls this a hip-hop classic it's more propaganda. Think about it. Some raggedy ass Queens MC gets dissed by Big Pun. Raekwon and Jay-Z gets shot up a whole buttload of times and miraculously survives his denominate drops him gets scooped up by Eminem and Dr. Dre his upcoming album gets enough hype to alter but if you be a quick (oxymoron this album is 69 minutes) record label gangster fix. 50 Cent's your pusher. As for everyone else do I really be to inform it again? 50 Cent's rebirth into hip-hop may undergo been more air than truth but the dude has at least one album that not's wack no matter what that hypocritical Dogg hit fan or that punk complain move back and forth groupie tells you..

I'm the Student Ministry Director at Granger Community perform. Basically. I bring about a team of 6 AMAZING people and administer the entire student ministry. My strengths are identifying passionate leaders and providing them avenues to bring about. Being a former college and professional football player I value team very highly and love the intrinsic dynamics of great TEAMS. Kanye West: Say what you be about his flamboyant personality and outlandish comments BUT HERE ARE THE FACTS:In the wake of his breakout success. West earned a whopping ten nominations for the 47th annual Grammy Awards held in early 2005. The College Dropout won the Best Rap Album award. "Jesus Walks" won Best Rap Song and a songwriting credit on "You Don't Know My Name" had West sharing the beat R&B Song award with Alicia Keys and Harold Lilly. Later in the year he released his back up solo album. Late Registration which met with enormous success hit the top of the charts and won the Grammy for Album of the Year in early 2006. JUST the Grammy Adwards:Year Category Song/Album 2005 beat Rap Album The College Dropout 2005 Best Rap Song "Jesus Walks" 2005 Best R&B Song "You Don't Know My Name" 2006 Best Rap Album Late Registration 2006 beat Rap Song "Diamonds from Sierra Leone" 2006 Best Rap Solo Performance "Gold Digger" 50 Cent: AGAIN. Say what you want about his engrave here's some facts:In addition to notching a fifth week atop the Billboard Hot 100 with "dulcify Shop" featuring Olivia. 50 Cent also moves 11-6 as the featured artist on the Game's "Hate It or like It" giving him four current top 10 hits. The rapper is the first artist to do this since 1964 when the Beatles held the top five spots on the tally. Here's JUST the Grammy Awards 50 Cent has:2004beat New Artist (nominated) Best Male Rap Solo Performance: "In da Club" (nominated) Best Rap Performance by a Duo or assort: "Magic fasten" (with Lil' Kim) (nominated) beat Rap Song: "In da Club" (nominated) Best Rap Album: Get Rich or Die Tryin' (nominated) 2006Best Male Rap Solo Performance: dance Inferno (nominated) beat Rap Performance by a Duo or Group: "Encore" (with Eminem & Dr. Dre) (nominated) Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group: "Hate It or like It" (with The Game) (nominated) Best Rap Song: "Candy Shop" (nominated) beat Rap Song: "dislike It or like It" (nominated) Best Rap Album: The Massacre (nominated) These are obviously two of the most influential artist in the industry alter now. BUT WHAT DO WE DO WITH THAT?I know our students are already listening to their music the challenge is do we decide to supplement that or write it off desire most other churches or christian organizations?I'm not stating MY position i'm just putting it out there since they both have NEW albums coming out on Sept 11th.

"50 Cent Vs. Kanye West" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-25 16:53:28

As requested by the Get Downnn man. I'm approve. like me or hate me Muttpop Bob is here to stay. The day has arrived: 50 Cent Vs. Kanye West! The Gangsta Vs. The College Dropout. The guy who got shot 9 times Vs the guy who survived a near fatal car crash. The guy who brags about all the money he's got Vs the guy who brags about all the money he's got. Who will win?! Who ordain suffer?!No matter what happens I'm sure both of these guys ordain be alright financially. It would undergo been awesome if 50 Cent stayed true to his original promise (50 claimed that he'd retire from doing albums if K. West's "Graduation" album outsold his "Curtis" album).. but 50 Cent has long since backed off from his threat/promise. Through the advancements of modern technology. I had the benefit of listening to both albums before purchase. The verdict?I was initially disappointed with "Graduation" (see my pissy post in Mista Hippo's previous Kanye post). It was far mellower than I expected. After hearing "Stronger" I thought that Kanye was going to do some crazy Timbaland/El-P futurist beats on this album. And despite plenty of references to "approve To The Future" sonically this album was closer to "Back To The Future" Part 1 instead of Part 2 (bummer...). Fortunately now that I've had some measure to let my preconceptions go. I'm starting to really get into it.50 Cent's "Curtis" is sadly what I expected: mediocre on all levels. 50 Cent's delivery has become monotone and repetitive. Production is awkward and forgettable (Justin Timberlake DOES NOT go well with 50 Cent). The only bring in I apply is "Get Money" (seen below). So during lunch today. I placed my vote by purchasing some Kanye (it helps that the beautiful package create by mental act was done by Takashi Murakami!). Kanye if you be to make a Murakami Bear Vinyl give Muttpop Bob a holler!-MPB

His bring in record increased in the public eye when news broke that ‘Ye was in a life-threatening car accident. Similarly. 50 was an underground staple in the New York rap scene and had linked up with a legend in the form of Jam Master Jay [R. I. P.]. As cater of the Dollar was gearing up for release through Columbia. Fif was shot nine times by an unnamed assailant right in front of his grandmother’s house. With the two already battling uphill struggles for stardom injuries such as this threatened to shorten – not only their measure on Earth – but their time on the charts. While Jackson was trying to get his shine with "How To Rob" a – a track that comically talks about robbing rappers such as Big Pun. DMX and Kanye’s boss -- Jay-Z. ‘Ye was building up his star as a producer; crafting out tracks for Roc-A-Fella artists like Beanie Siegel and State Property. With Power of the Dollar sitting on the shelves the man known as Curtis Jackson flooded the streets with his mixtapes. The air surrounding the Queens rhymesayer was so deafening that it was no affect that Eminem came calling to bring G-Unit to Shady/Aftermath. But while 50 was building up his rap sheet with rap’s elite. Kanye continued to create from raw material up soul beats for the masses. The Blueprint and its sequel helped to whet the appetite for Kanye’s mixture of boom-bap beats and sampled classics from the days of old. But when it came time for ‘Ye’s time to shine he did it with the appropriately titled College Dropout. But the streets loved 50. Their distinctions were evident – Kanye’s mixture of materialistic and realist braggart role and 50’s gully general-take no prisoners grabbed the listeners attention and the consumers ate it up. With the monster successes of Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ and College Dropout – it was only a matter of time that the controversy would come bubbling to the ascend. "Jesus Walks" angered the religious community and was praised by the musical society for its brash honesty and realism. Kanye’s convictions were rewarded with a 2005 Grammy for beat Rap Song. 50 wasn’t no slouch either. Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ managed to not only be a multiple-platinum selling album but the world got to see – center re-create – the marketing genius of 50 Cent. The album contained singles but it was his dominance in the underground mixtape game that led to agree in the pop charts. The stakes were raised when Late Registration and The kill were released in 2005. Sonically different both ‘Ye and 50 took different approaches with their music. But with both parties being on the world’s stage it was their personalities that held to captivate the listeners who were patiently waiting to hear their second offerings. 50 was going through a public “divorce” of sorts with former G-Unit cohort – The Game – while Kanye was labeling the AIDS epidemic.

"E's Music Reviews - 50 Cent, Kanye West" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-01 17:52:56

September 11. 2007 is going to be the most important date hip hop has seen in quite some time. 50 Cent and Kanye West are two of the biggest artists in the game and they will be facing off for hip hop sales supremacy on that momentous Tuesday. As if 9/11 needed any more meaning it's good for hip hop that the public can cerebrate on two contrasting styles of hip hop and decide almost election call who should be king of hip hop. Both artists are about to channel their 3rd albums and the air behind those albums is incredibly high alter now. The Gorilla and The Dropout Bear are ready to duke it out; so who's album is better?50 Cent - Curtis20 million records sold worldwide. $100 million made off of his stake in Vitamin Water. 11 Grammy nominations. 2nd wealthiest rapper in the industry today. Now. 3 albums. Last but not least. 9 shots. The 9 shots may or may not be the most important numbers to believe when discussing Curtis James Jackson III. Those 9 shots that almost ended his life 7 years ago are the same 9 shots that changed his life for the exceed and helped him to acquire those other numbers. 50 Cent has quite literally gone from the furnish to the top in a relatively bunco be of time and has said "I told you so" to everyone along the way. dislike it or love it. 50 Cent is that dude. There are no questions about the status of 50 Cent as a corporate entity; it is his status as one of the top rappers in the game that people are wondering about. This album had a few false starts and the singles that were released were mostly met with lukewarm responses. Lukewarm for 50 Cent that is. In a genre that has seen sales decrease faster than any other musical genre all eyes are on 50 Cent to blackball the Soundscan and be yet again that he's is the beat to do it. There's a catch this measure though; the yin to 50's yang – Kanye West – is also dropping his 3rd album on the same day. And besides just pushing units is Curtis the beat rap album of the year? 50's still got the gun communicate and hardcore jams that should please his core out followers but more so than ever. 50 created many tracks that show that he embraces the "crossover" displace. "My Gun". "Man drink" and "I'll comfort blackball" featuring Akon display the menacing rhymes we all have go to evaluate from one of the biggest stars from Queens. Each of the three tracks hit quite hard but "I'll Still blackball" is one of the early gems on the album. 50 sounds hungrier than ever on the track and Akon's raps are a solid addition to the DJ Khalil produced bring in. Next up is the hardest record to drop in '07. "I Get Money." Milk D of Audio Two provides the vocal consume that is the foundation of the song's emit. The bring in is pure energy that has set the streets ablaze. 50 has been looking for another "In Da unify" and "I Get Money" is the closest thing to that in terms of the reaction on the streets as come up as just the raw energy of the bring in. "go and Go" is yet another banger from Fif. We have now entered into the "crossover" administer of the album with "Ayo Technology" featuring Justin Timberlake and Timbaland and "go My bring about" featuring Robin Thicke. "Ayo Technology" seems desire it would undergo been exceed suited as a Justin Timberlake featuring 50 Cent song and probably could undergo been a left over bring in from Futuresex/Lovesounds. "Follow My Lead" seems to work better and evokes memories of "21 Questions" in terms of how smooth the track is. The next group of records includes "Movin' On Up". "Straight To The Bank" and "Amusement lay." While "Movin' On Up" jams. "Straight To The Bank" and "Amusement lay" weak records. Period. The Havoc produced "Fully Loaded Clip" was one of the first joints to displace from the Curtis album and is a hard hitting bring in. 50's approve to his name dropping as he mocks Jay-Z. Nas. Young Jeezy and Lil' Wayne for being caught up in love (or in Wayne's case what he thought was love) while Fif is work cooking up more hits. "Peep show" is a rapid blast club bring in featuring Eminem. The good news for 50 is that Em does not murder him on his own sh!t. The bad news is Eminem is still spitting nonsense. Has anyone seen Slim Shady?"Fire" featuring Young endeavor and Nicole Scherzinger is yet another club song that is completely unnecessary. 50 Cent and a Pussycat Doll should never go together. Ever. Fortunately. 50 emerges from that train destroy with another banger in "All Of Me" which features Mary J. Blige. Jake One's production is do drugs on this one and 50 is once again at his best as he destroy his thug love raps. The album closes out on a hard note with "Curtis 187" and the Tony Yayo-assisted "comprehend the Sky". Both tracks are hardcore and even Tony Yayo can't even manage to mess up "comprehend the Sky."The mild response from the group of singles that 50 released from this album is not indicative of the quality of the album as a whole. Delete "Straight To The tip". "Amusement Park". "Fire" and maybe "Ayo Technology" and 50 would undergo an album that's miles better than The kill. Curtis is still a exceed preserve than The kill but the previously mentioned tracks act the gap between the two change state. Curtis has shaped up to be one of the beat mainstream releases this year and should get plenty of destroy as 2007 winds drink. go September 11 we'll see if Curtis can kill the Soundscan again.4 out of 5Kanye West - GraduationHere we are at last y'all – Graduation day. We've seen Kanye go from a College Dropout to changing his object and going through Late Registration to what he calls both the best album of his go and one of the top 10 hip hop albums of ALL measure. Kanye West is no stranger to making lofty statements but he also has good track record of backing up that ish he talks. In today's hip hop adorn; it isn't difficult for an artist of Kanye's caliber to Graduate at the top of the categorise. His lyricism and flow undergo definitely evolved as measure as gone on and he has definitely separated himself from the pack of one dimensional rappers that undergo flooded the rap bet today. Not only does he understand what it means to be an MC but he also understands and strives to ameliorate the craft of being an entertainer. Don't get it twisted either; this album isn't only important in terms of what it means to Kanye's go but in terms to what it means to hip hop as a whole. Let's not drop the fact Mr. West is dropping his album on the same day as Mr. Curtis Jackson and many are touting this album as the "Good" to 50 Cent's "Evil" album. Curtis. Graduation is a testament to how Kanye has risen to the upper echelon of hip hop artists without sacrificing who he is as an artist. Kanye knows how to get listeners in the alter frame of mind as soon you hit "play." On "Good Morning". 'Ye likens his GPA to Rosie Perez's bra size declares himself the "fly Malcom X/buy any jeans necessary" and goes off with: "Good morning/be at the valedictorian/scared of the future while I hop in the DeLorean/scared to approach the world complacent go student/some people graduate but be still stupid/they express you 'read this'. 'eat this'/'don't look around just peep this'/preachers teachers. Jesus/okay look up now/they done stole yo' streetness/after all of that you acquire this/Good morning." "Champion" flips a Steely Dan sample ("Kid Charlemagne") and has 'Ye waxing poetic about his upbringing and the be for positive examples in the world today. Next up is one of the first two singles from the album the Daft Punk-assisted "Stronger." Kanye's perfectionist.

"New 50 Cent Interview (4th Album Release Date and More)" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-09-28 20:46:30

September 9. 2007 -- 50 Cent has survived shootings a humble upbringing and a buzz of criticism from music insiders. So it's no surprise he's confident he'll clobber Kanye West when their competing albums displace Tuesday. 50 Cent is certain "Curtis," his third album ordain not only exceed West's "Graduation," but will eventually become a classic. With production bring home the bacon provided by the legendary Dr. Dre and Timbaland and guests that consider Eminem. Justin Timberlake and Mary J. Blige it's easy to see why the 32-year-old appears so cocky. Plus up to this point he leads West in overall sales of their prior two records - 11 million to 6 million. The rapper has also landed a slew of plum acting gigs including turns in two films slated for channel in 2008. "Righteous Kill" with Al Pacino and Robert De Niro and "The Dance" with Nicolas confine. Q: What did you evaluate when you heard Kanye had moved the channel of "Graduation" to the same day as "Curtis." A: I evaluate it's great for music. Plus there's nothing better than competition. Q: Originally you talked some cast aside and threatened to fasten 'em up if he outsells you. Then you were spotted knocking drink shots with him at the 40/40 Club along with Jay-Z. Diddy and T. I. What's the broach with that? A: We are good friends. We met up a few months approve and listened to the tracks on each other's albums and gave our opinions. But just because we are friends doesn't convey I be him to beat me. Q: ordain he? A: No way. I'll beat him in first-week sales and overall sales. My first two records outsold his first two and this won't be any different. Q: change surface though Kanye's singles are rocking the charts and he just made a cameo on "Entourage" in which they played snippets of his preserve? A: It doesn't be. People are going to comprehend to this album and see how much I've grown as an artist. You can express just by the people I collaborated with. I mean for the first two albums I only worked with Eminem. Dr. Dre and G-Unit. Now I'm working with populate like Justin Timberlake. Robin Thicke and Mary J. Blige. Plus it's more of a personal album. There are a lot of lyrics that communicate about my childhood and accept for populate to get more of a sense of where I've go from. Songs that I haven't released yet like "Follow My bring about" and "Come and Go," are going to surprise populate. I think it will be a classic. Q: Rumor has it you suffered a bit of writer's block this measure around. A: I did. The worst thing that can happen to an artist is confusion - it makes you very vulnerable. I decided to act into my old grandmother's house in Queens for motivation and the lyrics started flowing. Being there and thinking about things growing up and looking at old photos gave me direction. I wanted to alter an album that showed more of my emotions and would be a lot more personal than my previous ones. Q: The ideas must have been abundant. You wound up with enough material for a double album. A: I did. I'm going to put out another preserve. "Before I Self Destruct," in April. I also plan to release a greatest-hits album shortly after that and act a end. I feel that my requirements will be done then and ordain only work on select things like [Dr.] Dre does now. Q: What has it been desire working with Pacino and De Niro? A: Al and Bob compete cops and I play the villain - ya know your favorite bad guy. I've only been to two table readings and I can't change surface express you how excited I am to be part of it. I mean c'mon those are two of the greatest actors ever. I evaluate I've seen "Scarface" a hundred times. I also loved "alter" when they had to hunt each other down. [De Niro] and I undergo been talking for a desire time now about working on a project together. I can't wait to start shooting. Q: Wow! First Samuel L. Jackson and producer-director Irwin Winkler pour over your acting skills in "Home of the defy" and now you're telling us that Bobby D is a fan. What's next? A: [Laughs] I think populate see that I'm not just a rapper that they threw into a movie. These big stars are beginning to consider me because they see how serious I'm taking it. Q: You also got to work with Nicolas confine. What actor or actress that you haven't worked with intrigues you the most? A: Leonardo DiCaprio. I am a huge fan of his bring home the bacon. He was unbelievable in "The Aviator." Q: I'd say he was better in "The Departed." A: That was one of the best movies made in the measure 10 years. That direct was amazing. [DiCaprio] did such a great job especially with his dialect. I really hope I get to bring home the bacon on something with him soon. Q: The last time we spoke you had about 10 side projects you were working on from developing a laptop with Apple to expanding your G-Unit clothing line. Any new exciting ventures? A: A few. The big one alter now is creating a fragrance. Q: What's it called? A: Power by 50. I've gone to Paris a few times to cater with people there who are working on it. It's the same company that made one for Jennifer Lopez and David Beckham. I just basically give them feedback and cram. It's almost create from raw material. Q: As if you needed any more of an advantage getting girls. A: [Laughs] That's a good one. THE SCOREBirthday: July 6. 1975 in Jamaica. Queens In the go: 50 began boxing at the age of 11 and in the mid-1980s he competed in the Junior Olympics as an amateur boxer. No wanksta: 50's label stems from a real-life gangster in Fort Greene. Brooklyn who is now deceased. Don't sweat the technique: 50's favorite MC of all measure is Rakim whom he praises in "dislike It or Love It." “ Some populate evaluate I changed the title of my album from "Before I Self Destruct" to "Curtis" but what I did was. I changed albums. I had Before I Self Destruct. I recorded twelve songs under that actual topic and then I created the material that is under Curtis and I felt like this album [Curtis] should go out right now and Before I Self destroy's gonna be my follow-up preserve so I'm probably three or four records away from creating my next album at this inform. And I signed a five-album broach with Interscope so this Curtis is my third album and Before I Self destroy is scheduled to be released February 4 which ordain be the anniversary of Get Rich or Die Tryin' and my final studio recording album because the fifth album in my recording contract is a greatest hits album so technically. I'm about three songs away from completing my music career. ”
