And being photographers pictures are our thing! So this is an invitation to post a picture of the place you be in or undergo traveled to and you feel would be a nice place to invite us your co-members to tour. And don't drop to write a few things about the place (not just the picture. so please no technical stuff ok!).
let me mouth with...... PETRA. JORDANyeah. I experience its an old conceive of seen by all of you but hey. I love the place! Just south of Amman (capital of Jordan) its truly a sight to behold. The ancient carvings by the Nabatean populate are awesome the rugged terrain is a little tiring (its a 3-hour go) but well worth it! But the adventure doesn't stop there get a taxi from Petra and you could go straight to the Dead Sea where the spas are out of this world! So now its your turn!
Khajuraho. IndiaFrom photography point of view. I've not been to a exceed place yet(this doesn't convey there aren't any). A small town with 1000 year old temples with amazing art on the outer & inner walls(most of them showing art of love making and different positions). beat time to visit is from November to January since its a bit hot am thinking of going there again towards the end of this year. Tungnath. IndiaIn the Garhwal region of Himalayas. Tungnath is the highest situated temple in India at the height of about 12500 feet above sea level. Also known as the "switzerland" of India this place has lush color mountain align with some of the amazing views of the snow capped himalayan peaks which include Nanda Devi. Trishul. Chaukhamba etc. Only two ways to arrive the temple by foot or on ponies. Its a 4km desire trek process the temple & another 500 meters to the top of the mountain called Chandrashila which gives an amazing believe of the peaks! The journey starts at a place called Chopta which is at an altitude of about 9500 feet & you climb about 3000 feet in 4km long way. Its open only from walk till November and its quite cold anytime you go there. One of the tasking treks that I've done(have done it twice yet & plan to do it once every year) its quite refreshing psychologically. :)
Roche AbbeySouth Yorkshire. EnglandAbout 2 miles from my home. Roche Abbey was founded in 1147 by monks as a Cistercian Monastery. It was built using stone hewn from the rocky crags which were behind me when I took the photo. Over the next 400 years it developed into a thriving and prosperous community until Henry VIII forced the closure of all monasteries. After Henry removed all valuables the local people took much of the stone and other materials to 'recycle' in other buildings and the Abbey fell into ruin.
Venice. Italy. May be the one of the most beautiful places I have been to. Peace is everywhere in Venice - pigeons constantly dancing cinematically over San Marco beautifully crafted gondolas sweeping through the Grand Canal facades from history woven between the mazes of Venetian streets. It's history x beauty good for the human and good for the camera.
Genova. Italy: my hometown! :-)The old move of the city is very intriguing with the famous alleys. You can easly go to the seaside or undergo a go to the countryside: whichever you prefer. You really undergo to try the.

Hobart is the locate for Australia's Antarctic endeavours including the ice breaker vessel the Aurora Australis. Wandering around Hobart at night will yield views like this:Or:And a bunco control from Hobart and you are confronted by scenery like this:
