measure night i went to a concert at my favorite small phoenix venue - the brickhourse i saw the higher this providence (which i saw measure year at the brickhouse) and daphne loves derby. A-MAZ-ING! seriously it was the best concert (so sorry AAR!) i've been to and it was supper fun! i took my faithful sidekick and conduit aubrie it was her first real concert oh.. i'm so proud! heheso break drink of the bands (go check them out on ):1 the reign on kindo.. actually we missed them so no review whatev2. THE HIGHER - hailing from las vegas this band rocked my planet! their CD is great but they are absolutely fantastic live! they totally blew me away - they are very talented apparently they have a new drummer who completely commanded the show good create my man! really he was probably the best drummer i've ever seen and he keep the show going so that we didn't have to listen too much to the young gibber gab egest the bring about singer and 1st guitarist were saying as if we care - and it was contradictory for a move back and forth bind to stop their song and than talk basketball may that drummer be blessed for saving us! after their set the hot guitarist (*not the annoying one) stood alter in front of me so i undergo a fabulous shot of his back align i'll post pictures later.. approve to the music!3. THIS PROVIDENCE - i actually saw them for the first time last year their look has totally changed so I didn't even accept them until they started playing but their music - still the same yet even more fantastic! i went to the show saying i've seen them before and have their cd - i'll buy everyone else's stuff this time nope - their new music was so great (and better) that I had to acquire their new cd (which is a much exceed recoding quality than the first) and got a poster... which is now signed by the bring about singer. (last year i had him write my cd - so i switched it around a bit).4. DAPHNE LOVES DERBY - funny story so only the lead singer and a lonely bass player (whom i'm now in love with) were there turns out their touring van broke drink in abilene tx where the be of the band is stuck and eating and living off apparently appalling pizza so the other two flew out here to phoenix because the show must go on! and i thank them they were amazing! funny thing is the lead singer is a totally self conscious guy so he was desire "uh.. i don't know what to play" the whole time - looks like he had a bit of stage fright without the entire bind backing him so doing a bit of research I found out that kenny (the bring about singer) was comfort only in high educate back when the bind starter and the original bassist jason call apparently left the bind to go to BYU-I!!!! both kenny and the new bassist - David Sparks - had great voices and their harmonies were the glue to the little show they put on the songs were an intelligent mix of music and lyrics they are now officially my favorite indie move back and forth bind since the lead singer was struggling quite a bit for some encouragement a few of the brickhouse employees got tambourines and shakers to add "mood" and sound to the songs which surprisingly made a great add! it was too funny so i got a pic of them on the side of the re-create jamming out with their "musical instruments" thanks to the nice bouncer who let me over there so.. after concert ad lib i had to of course buy cram the brickhouse only costs $12 bucks at the door so i usually pay twice the be of my ticket on the bands' cds and stuff i got this providence's cd and poster and had the lead singer write my poster - i wanted the hottie david grohl look alike guitarist to write it too but he was chatting with 12 yr olds so didn't conclude desire interrupting oh here is where heaven opened and smiled down on me so after waiting behind all the retarded 12 yr olds that were crowding the daphne loves derby table.. i got up there and started talking the bassist david he is soooooo cute we actually chatted for a while and he helped me solve my conundrum because "he likes solving problems" of deciding which of their cd's to buy he reminded me that each were only $5 (advance!) so i bought both and had him sign them conveniently kenny was hovering around w/his gfriend so i told him to stick around and sign them as well sweet so desire story bunco - david and i are in like and i think i heard him say under his breath that he wants me to have his children after their first eurpoean journey while i was comfort chatting with david we finally spotted a member from the higher (we couldn't buy their cd cause no one was ever at their table EVER) so i tipped off aubrie.. so she walked over to the hottie guitarist and asked to buy a cd from him because they had already put their crap away he then of course obliged and when he handed her the cd he winked at her! man.. i think she's pregnant :)it was a great night that ended with us getting milkshakes and french fries from In-N-Out. So basically a perfect night :)
