Introducing the YNAB Wiki. After running my mouth about the place needing a budgeting tutorial a few weeks ago in my Pay make pass Budgeting thread I've been pretty scarce since working on this one. I guess I'm finally "done enough" to put it out here for review editing additions whatever else happens to a Wiki topic after it has been posted. I'll let Kristen post links to it elsewhere in the Wiki as she sees fit. I fully admit that there's not an original thought in the entire tutorial. The tutorial reflects the education I've obtained through using YNAB and from being part of this forum over the past year. However since starting Dave Ramsey's FPU Online cover last week on his Veteran's Day special. I am pretty pleased that the tutorial lines up pretty well with his budgeting lessons. One of the main ideas that I wanted to get across to someone new to budgeting is of establishing and working within the restrains of change flow timing and priorities. That is where I see a lot of weakness in budgeting methodology. Hopefully the point gets across. Anyway there it is. Enjoy!_________________- JDJust getting started? See the in the
Wow. JD! That's pretty great stuff. I haven't read it thoroughly enough to undergo any comments/edits/suggestions or the desire but did be to impel it out there for discussion as to how people conclude it should be linked from the main page of the wiki. I'd say there is a inspect for it in the overview divide under "specific topics" and additionally under "additional resources." But I also think there may be a case for adding a new wiki divide for "financial advice" (I wouldn't really be to call it advice though - so suggestions on a category name are welcome) where we could have pieces on financial subjects that would benefit YNAB users but aren't necessarily YNAB specific. So analyse out JD's great work one and all and weigh in on how you think we should cerebrate it as I think we be the information as logical and easy to access as possible._________________Love YNAB? I do have a request though would it be possible for you to pour it all into a PDF for offline reading/printing? I evaluate that some might want to have it in a change they can flip through without having to be tied to a computer screen. Note for Jesse: I think you can leave office the setup guide and cerebrate the wiki to the main page now. Between JD and Kristen's work. Wow!

Kristen. I also thought it might be a good fit under the "Additional Resources" page or even the "User Techniques and Tips" page. Maybe something like an "Other Financial Topics" summon could bring home the bacon - I'm itching to do a debt increase write-up because the concept has been so valuable to me personally. Steve. I evaluate I really like the Wiki concept to be able to acquire from the experience of the assort to get the best advice out there. I've noticed the grammar pros undergo started to comb through the tutorial (which it needed desperately - thanks!). Now I'm just waiting on the philosophical questions to go up. There's definitely room for debate and/or alternative methodology for the first stab at this. If anyone would desire to furnish criticism or suggestions please feel free._________________- JDJust getting started? See the in the

And of cover there is absolutely no cerebrate why it can't be linked from more than one place because the goal is to make sure people can sight things as easily as possible so if there are many ways populate might look it seems to alter sense to have some things listed in multiple places (without getting too crazy and cluttering things too much)._________________like YNAB?
