"iphone support!" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-08-05 14:35:24

I would like to see a Mint iPhone page! A lot of web 2.0 sites are designing iphone sites. Apple makes it easy to do this through their iPhone apps page. If you need help testing it let me know. I'd be more than happy to volunteer my time. i would like to see iPhone support as well but I'm curious to see pages after the 3rd party development kit comes out. __________________Damon BillianMint: Free Personal pay SoftwareThink Mint is delicious? Bookmark us on and. Reminder: Mint employees will never ask for the username and password for any of your banking or credit card accounts. Please do not provide this information when using our contact form. Bank of America actually has an iPhone app and to tell you the truth.. I'm tempted to open up a checking account there for that reason as well as many other reasons of course. The access to the site via Iphone will work with most of the pages on Mint (I checked with our Apple Fanboy here). However. Spending Trends won't work and/or anything else that has a radiate component. __________________Damon BillianMint: Free Personal Finance SoftwareThink Mint is delicious? Bookmark us on and. Reminder: Mint employees will never ask for the username and password for any of your banking or ascribe card accounts. Please do not provide this information when using our contact form. Yeah I to would like a specialized iPhone version. Because the background is on about a half and half showing on the iphone. Something overlap and as you said your self the iphone lacks flash support. Other than that it works great. I agree with the above if a WebAp could be developed it would be great. It would also help me to convince my CoWorkers to manage their money better considering none of them do and our Company bought all of us iPhones for X-Mas!! I have converted two to create from raw material already and have a third convinced based on the testemonial of one saving over $1000 last month. Mobile app to easily declare and categorize cash expenditures at inform of purchase. It seems that using cash is not preferred but I do need to and would really appreciate being able to track this without the mess of receipts or recording it and manually entering it later. It would also provide mint com and thus us great opportunities by getting a more complete picture of our spending. Really that would be awesome. I recently wrote in to create from raw material com regarding this very topic and received a very professional and polite response regarding a future iPhone supported web app. The moderator forwarded my request to the engineering department of mint com to further promote this idea. I think it would be a natural meld to see this site offer iPhone functionality. The demographic this product caters to is of the age that would gain great mobility through that type of function. Thank you Outside of the limitations in the browser w/ Flash etc. Getting an iPhone formatted layout is (I understand) pretty easy. It involves mostly a CSS and then code to detect when an iPhone browser is hitting the site. Checking on Apple's web apps page - there are a bring together of good examples - There is a Digg summon for the iPhone - and someone - not the company - has put out a Facebook formatted page w/ about 65% of the functionality of the full site. I'm sure its harder than I'm making out - but my message is - it might be easier than you imagine.

"Budget for Category showing more than Nov" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-12 16:18:13

All of my calculate items show the total for all the transactions in that category that are in my history. If for example my telecommunicate account is $50 a month and the history is there from september then it looks like my actual expense is $150 - and if I budget $50 for the month then I am 110 over budget Powered by vBulletin® Version 3.6.7procure ©2000 - 2007. "Community Chat: Canceled" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-01 21:57:43

Hi Folks,I have to balance this for today unfortunately (sorry for the late notice). We undergo a product channel coming out & the relative traffic is going to be low because of the upcoming pass. I am also working on trying to create an easier to use format for chat one that will probably include either Meebo or something from 37 signals. Again. I do apologize! __________________Damon BillianMint Community TeamThink Mint is delicious? Bookmark us on and. "Secondary authentication issues and workaround" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-22 02:52:03

I accept I undergo open a workaround for the time being for banks/credit unions that use secondary authentication of a specific write. My ascribe union Austin Telco Federal ascribe union has a secondary authentication mechanism that requires you to move on the letters that alter up your secondary password. This only has to be done once on a system then you can allow said system to not need to use said auth mechanism. The problem with this is that there is no way to use anything other than a mouse at this point to do that. The SOLUTION I've found is:1 log in to my credit union's webpage.2. Open a second tab and log in to create from raw material com3. Click on the update button for my credit union accounts.4. Switch cerebrate back over to the already logged in credit union page. I've confirmed that this 'solution' works with both Firefox and IE. Guesses as to why this bring home the bacon revolve around the client cookie. Without digging too far it seems to me that the auth stream goes something like this. write in accountType in pinIs system authorized? yes - check for local cookie no - prompt for secondary authenticationcheck for session id in cookie no - end authentication and create session cookie yes - Consider yourself logged in to site. So. I evaluate this way is simply a mechanism for poaching the session ID of the other tab's connection to the place. Don't forget to change state the credit union site up first or all your hard work ordain be gone when it fails authentication and resets everything. or your scheduled tasks ordain cease to answer -->&write;2007 create from raw material Software.
