I did. I thought my profile was MY space and that I was just being friendly and sharing bits of myself with my fellow myLotters. After all. I was here to socialize meet new people and have some fun. Not be victimized and cyber stalked. Well someone saved one of my pics and used it as their avatar and then went around myLot posting with it. Talk about fuming! They didnt just take a pic of me they took a pic of me and my hubby he has nothing to do with myLot so why involve him? Thankfully myLot was responsive and removed the comments and Im not sure if they user wised up and removed the avatar or if myLot did. But its gone now. So this is just a warning to all of you who have personal pix of yourself your kids or your family to beware. If you p!ss someone off they can save your pix to their pc and do God knows what with them. Ive since removed all my photos from my profile. What do you think of myLot making it where your pictures on your profile are safe from this type of abuse? Do you think you should have the right to share these without them being picked up and saved by some low life with a meaningless existence to exploit you? God knows what kind of freak finds it edits it and then posts it on some adult site... Things like these can happen and it's awful. But like I said there are many weirdos in this world. Bay xx I actually took the time to go to our nearby Pumpkin Hollow this year. They specialize in 'breeding' coloured pumpkins of all kinds. White blue red yellow and all shades of green and orange. It was quite something to see. So I ended up with two pumpkins - a tall traditional orange one and a short round fat really really red one. I'm going to carve a big BOO in the red one and put a sign over both of them saying "Courtesy of my friend Bay!". It's a smart thing to consider myLot seemed to have taken fast action in regards to the stalker but elsewhere on the net (myspace for example) you may not get that immediate attention or response. But what can you do? If you upload them even if you cannot right-click save them anyone can "print screen" and save it to a jpg. myLot should create a "private" collection where you could upload and share personal photos ONLY with friends that would be a little safer. One way (hope I am not restating what someone else said. didn't read all the responses) is to make sure you have watermarked your image. Even if they take it they can't use very well. There are ways of protecting your photos and I am sure there is software that could help you/us with the image stealing wackos.:) Most photo softwares have some type of watermarking ability; but I think I am going to do a search and if there is something that would be able to disable the ability to "right click and save". I hate to be the one to say it but this communicate used to be better—perhaps a 3.5 or 4 but it has gone down hill since V got out of school. I guess it is less about the communicate than the blogger. Her life (at least the parts she blogs about) has become boring and routine. If you go her blog she is in the UK and trying to maintain a long distance relationship. Frankly as of late it is desire watching paint dry. It is too bad. According to her blog she is no longer interested in the things that made her blog interesting. This happens to many people. I understand: been there done that. But my understanding of this does not make it interesting. All of this said there are some nice encounters in her archives and even some personal pics she has been so kind to share. Personally. I say this car has close to super car performance it is just lacking the prestige and exclusivity of a Ferrari. Exclusivity is what costs the big bucks. Not trying to lay out trying to get the facts straight: According to Nissan the chassis is "Exclusive PM platform" which stands for "Premium Midship" and from what i have read is different from the "FM Platform" which stands for "lie Midship" 2004m3driver,Not everyone cares about showing off their car to everyone else. The GT-R might not have the prestige or exclusivity of a Ferrari but that doesn't mean it's not a supercar it just means it's not an exotic. This car is affordable and incredibly fast and thats all that matters. the lie end looks too much like a a Celica made sweet sweet love to a 350Z and something about the line at the furnish of the door I just don't like. I think instead of hiring a 5 year old to design the lie end they should have hired a 8 year old. 8 year olds know where it's at ignoring it's ugliness I am still toying with the idea of buying one very fast for a real car awd. 2+2 with what appears to be usable rear seats and I think it is a usable everyday car I generally desire the GT-R but the lie end styling is not it's strongest feature. It looks dated to me for some reason--a create by mental act that would appear in the late 90s. Now the straighten styling is strong and masculine. I am curious why they departed from the prototype which is much stronger.. given the competition and determine range. Any thoughts? My only gripe is that at $80k it most likely will not exhibit the build quality of its German counterparts (ie e92m3 c63 and rs4). That center console really could have been an opportunity to investigate some nice futuristic user interface designs. Instead it looks as banal as the navigation in my 2003 X5. I evaluate something in amber color with some really inspired techno-organic designs would have been cool. come up I had an interesting weekend. I met a new guy that is a friend of a friend I guess you could say. We decided that because he lives in Talladega and all of the traffic this weekend due to the go that he could come down my way and we would go out.
