Hi All,I have been having an issue with the hit SIGN ON on SD+ 7 it was working to begin with but after a bring together of days when you enter the label affiliate label local):8080 it comes up with a login box as if you require authentication to the server... I know it may be our communicate but has anyone had this air?? We are using DFS also. RegardsHeath Beardwood
kkevin,We are using Version 7001 and IE 6 and 7 - I do not accept its a DNS issue as its even asking for authentication on the server I installed the SD+ V7 application - the only other thing I undergo running on that server is IIS for another application. Is it possible that there is a contrast with IIS and the tomcat interface SD+ uses? - When I move OFF the AD Pass-through Authentication accessing the web interface portal works book with no weird messages. This was working fine for a while when I first configured the SD+ then just stopped…. Please helpHeath
HiI undergo also had this issue not sure if it helps but the way round it for us was to add our portal address to the trusted sites list in IE. Tools/Internet Options/Security/Local Intranet/Sites. Regards
I dont think it is a DNS air. IIS has nothing to do with the functioning of ServiceDesk Plus. Maybe. CJ_HOWIE's suggestion should help you. Kevin//
We also have this air. Running SD 7001. IIS6 ( on same server as SDP)IE6We do NOT have any issues with other applications on this server. We did NOT undergo this issue on V6 of the product running on the same platform.
can we plan a web session to get this resolved? if so let me know your convenience for the same to 'give at servicedeskplus dot com'?rgdskarthik
act in object that if you see such a prompt in Firefox it is normal because single sign-on is not fully supported in the browser yet. But if you are using IE you should not be getting such a prompt. Just my two cents' worth.
Thanks guys,It was the Settings in IE that was the problem as mentioned above -Just ticked the settings in Local Intranet and all works book…. Heath
Add your servicedesk url to the Local Intranet site and it should work as Heath referred to. Kevin//
register the label exactly as you see it. The code is case sensitive and zero has a diagonal line through it.
